• Committed to recovering their habitat lost to human occupation in Japan, Oishi works in tightly knit troops of other snow monkeys as well as his I.W.G. comrades to achieve their objectives.

  • The Japanese Snow Monkey lives throughout Japan, with a range covering subtropical lowlands to sub alpine regions. The great differences in habitats have made it necessary for these primates to adapt to large seasonal changes.  A protected species, an estimated 5,000 macaques are killed each year, despite being classified as threatened under the ESA,  The northern most species of all monkeys, Oishi's kind has already displayed remarkable adaptable traits such as warming themselves up in hot springs during the cold winter season, washing their food, and even making snowballs for the hell of it.

• With excellent dexterity Oishi has mastered the use of the traditional Japanese sword.  Studying both Samurai and Ninja techniques alike, Oishi is a fearsome opponent on the battlefield displaying great skill, speed, and stealth.  Naturally an expert in CQB he will also use his excellent hand to eye coordination to bean humans in the head with rock filled snowballs before finishing them off with his sword.  Oishi often hangs out with Titus and Odysseus and share their love of snacks.Being from Japan, Oishi often raids the convenience stores there, which offer some of the tastiest snacks in the world.
