• Sasquatch, also known as "Bigfoot", has been quietly living and subsisting in the forests and mountain of the Pacific Northwest region of North America.  No one really knows where he comes from, how long he has been here, or what he is.  This intelligent creature is mysterious and chooses to remain elusive and out of sight.  Shy and peaceful, his kind has been the subject of many legends, folklore and stories.  What is Sasquatch?  Proto-hominid, large unknown primate, alien...?

  • Largely unchecked clear cutting and deforestation of the Pacific Northwest since the 19th century has forced Sasquatch into a transient life.  Forests are cleared, degraded and fragmented by timber harvest, conversion to agriculture, road-building, human caused fire, and in myriad other ways. Deforestation is expanding and accelerating into the remaining areas of undisturbed forest, and the quality of the remaining forests is declining.  Deforestation has important implications for life on this planet.  Forests harbor tremendous biological diversity and influence our climate.  Many products made from trees such as paper, are easily replaceable with cheaper, less impacting materials such as hemp.  The corporate hemogeny and selfish interests of a few, have ruined the lives of many.

• Sasquatch has had enough.  He has seen his fellow woodland friends slaughtered for no reason, and die from shrinking habitat.  His favorite method of attack is with his liberated chain saws at close quarters.  Often messy, but leaves a impressionable impact on his enemies.  Bad humans in suits and ties are his favorite targets.  Sasquatch has adapted in our new world very quickly over the last few years.  He now often sneaks into the public library to surf the internet.  Thru the web he met Yeti.  They courted each other long distance via email and are now madly in love.  With similar backgrounds and a growing anger towards human exploitation, they made contact thru an underground network and joined forces with the I.W.G....
