Did you know:
-
Using his influence in Hollywood and of
course his own media empire, William Randolph Hearst was instrumental
in illegalizing Mary Jane in the USA because of a particular variety of "hemp"
(very low in THC) was potentially a threat to his paper
mills and logging interests. Hemp produces 4 times as much
usable paper pulp than trees and is an annually renewable crop....

Memories:
- We had some family friends from Germany when I was
living in New jersey. Once summer they brought back some gifts to
give to my brother and I, upon their return from Germany. We were
each given a pair of Lederhosen. Quite the authentic cultural
artifacts from Bavaria, my folks were very gracious and made me wear
them to school. I was in the 1st grade...
- My first vivid hallucination was when I was 4 and
sick and running a high fever. I walked into our kitchen in my
family's apartment and looked up on top of the fridge. There was a
Planters Peanuts jar sitting there and the little peanut guy leapt off
the label and did a dance on top of the fridge. It freaked me out
and I ran back to bed....
- I was sitting on my best friend's brick deck when I
was about 9. We were just hanging out and I watched this big brown
spider crawl out of a crack in the bricks. It only crawled a few
inches and then just simply curled upside down and died. It struck
me that I had never seen something die on its own before....
